Foster The People

Paradise State of Mind
Website & Digital Campaigns

As Creative Director & Designer, I led the official website launch for Foster The People’s highly anticipated return after nearly a decade-long hiatus. Partnering with renowned art director Mark Obriski, who commissioned and oversaw the album artwork, I deconstructed the unreleased visuals to build a multi-stage, interactive website rollout.

The site evolved in phases:

  • Phase 1: A stripped-back version of the artwork featuring only an empty room.

  • Phase 2: Gradual introduction of select elements from the full artwork.

  • Final Phase: Hours before the album release, the full artwork was revealed, now animated and brought to life through motion graphics.

I collaborated closely with Motion Graphics Designer Hannah Cao (Atlantic Records) to animate key elements, ensuring a dynamic, immersive experience. Once finalized, the site was developed and launched as a digital centerpiece for the album rollout.

Beyond the website, I worked alongside eCommerce, marketing, and the band to design and execute a series of digital campaigns, ensuring a cohesive and impactful presence across platforms.
